Data Deletion

Last updated: October 5, 2026

How to delete the data WaviPro holds about you and your business, and how to revoke our access to your WhatsApp Business Account.

How to request deletion

Write to [email protected] from the email address registered on the account, with the subject “Data deletion request”. We verify that the request comes from the account owner, delete everything listed below, and confirm by email. The whole process takes at most 30 days.

You can also delete your workspace from your account settings in WaviPro, which starts the same process.

If you are a customer of a business using WaviPro

If you are a person who has exchanged WhatsApp messages with a business that uses WaviPro, you can ask us to delete your phone number, profile name and message history. Write to the same address with the subject “Data deletion request” and tell us the business you contacted and the phone number you used. We may need to confirm your identity, and we may pass the request to that business, which controls your relationship with it.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and workspace records.
  • The encrypted access token issued for your WhatsApp Business Account, and every identifier we stored for it.
  • Your conversations, contacts and message records, including the phone numbers and profile names of the people who wrote to you.
  • Information about your message templates.
  • Audit log entries, except where we must keep a minimal record to meet a legal obligation.

Message content is also deleted automatically 60 days after it is sent or received, even if you do not request deletion.

Revoking our access to your WhatsApp Business Account

Deleting your data in WaviPro does not by itself remove the app from your Meta Business Portfolio. To revoke access, open business.facebook.com, go to Business settings, then Apps, and remove WaviPro. Once revoked, we can no longer read or send anything on your account, and we delete the stored credentials.

What we cannot delete

Messages that were already delivered exist on your customers’ devices and inside WhatsApp itself. We cannot remove those, and neither can Meta on our behalf. Data held by Meta under its own terms is governed by Meta’s policies.
